Terms of Service - Parrot
Last updated: July 2, 2026
The terms that govern your access to and use of the Parrot website and services.
Parrot lets you create and share code, notes, scripts, and encrypted keys as clean shareable URLs. You own everything you create. You control who can see it.
Encrypted content — including locked parrots and API keys — is stored securely and never read by us. AI Contexts let you attach knowledge to any parrot so recipients arrive with full context.
Some features require a paid plan. Pricing is shown clearly before you commit. You can cancel or delete your account at any time.
By using Parrot, you agree to follow these terms and use the service responsibly.
Terms of Service - Parrot by BashBash Labs
By continuing, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Parrot website and services (the "Services"). Parrot is a product operated by BashBash Labs, trading online as BashBashlabs.com ("Provider", "we", "us").
If you or your organization has signed a master services agreement or other written agreement with BashBash Labs that covers the Services, that agreement will govern in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
1) Service availability
The Services are provided on a commercial basis and may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued from time to time. Features, including paid features, may change as the Services evolve.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and AI-generated outputs are provided "as is" and "as available".
2) Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services (or older where required by applicable law). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API keys and for all activities that occur under your account.
3) Your content
You retain full ownership of all content you create and upload through the Services ("Parrot Content"), including code snippets, notes, scripts, encrypted keys, and context sources.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and transmit Parrot Content only as necessary to:
- Deliver your parrots to intended recipients
- Power AI Context features you have configured
- Operate, secure, support, and maintain the Services
- Comply with applicable law
You are responsible for ensuring you have all required rights and permissions to upload and share Parrot Content, including copyright, licensing, and consent rights where applicable. Do not share content you do not have the right to share.
4) Encrypted content and keys
When you use the Keys type or enable lock code protection, your content is encrypted before storage. We do not hold decryption keys for end-to-end encrypted content and cannot access the plaintext.
You are solely responsible for managing lock codes and access credentials for encrypted parrots. Owners can reveal or regenerate lock codes from supported owner actions.
5) AI Contexts
Parrot offers an AI Contexts feature that allows you to connect knowledge sources — text, documents, notes — to a context that can answer questions grounded in those sources.
By connecting sources to a context, you consent to that content being processed by AI models to generate responses. Your context sources are:
- Used exclusively for your configured context
- Not shared with or accessible by other users
- Not used to train shared AI models
- Deletable by you at any time
AI Context responses are probabilistic and may vary in accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing outputs where accuracy matters.
6) API access
Pro and Team plan subscribers may access the Services via API. API usage is subject to rate limits and quotas defined by your plan. API keys are personal credentials — you are responsible for keeping them secure and for all usage under your API key.
We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse, excessive usage beyond plan limits, or violations of these Terms.
7) Acceptable use and restrictions
You agree not to:
- Share content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Use the Services to distribute malware, exploit code, or malicious scripts
- Share credentials, keys, or sensitive data belonging to others without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of the Services
- Access the Services to build or support a competing product or service
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices
- Perform penetration testing or load testing without our prior written consent
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties unless agreed in writing
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
8) Prohibited sensitive data
Do not upload government-issued identifiers, financial account credentials you do not own, or other regulated sensitive data unless your organization has a signed agreement with BashBash Labs covering that use case. Tenant agreements may include expanded permissions — contact us at hello@parrot.wiki.
9) Fees and payments
Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. Plan pricing, seat minimums, and applicable taxes will be presented before you complete a purchase. Subscriptions are billed per seat per month.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details. By completing a purchase, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge the applicable fees using your selected payment method.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. We may change pricing with prior notice.
10) Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe there is a security risk, unlawful or infringing content, abuse, misuse, or a material breach of these Terms.
Where reasonably possible, access will be restored once the issue is resolved. You may stop using the Services or delete your account at any time.
11) Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and AI Context outputs are provided without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BashBash Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.
Our total liability relating to the Services is limited to the amounts paid by you for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or EUR 100 if you paid nothing.
13) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Courts in Amsterdam have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
